We are looking for a number of Robotics Software Engineers to join a company who are pioneering large scale marine robotics and creating technology that challenges innovation.
Engineers who thrive on being involved in ground breaking projects that make a difference in the world of technology and love to see products delivered to market, being involved in the end to end process and operate to high standards of quality, will be excited about this role.
Skills and experience required:
As a Software Engineer we are looking for people with the following skill sets:
Robotic Operating System (ROS) 1 and 2
C++ development in control systems
Unix/Linus OS
Python and Matlab for R&D
Positioning systems
Navigation and dynamics etc
Autonomy
Mission planning and mission management
Experience or interest in robotics, ROV, AUV
Excellent communicator and team player
Strong work ethic with a passion for innovation
Desirable skills include:
Navigation, Dynamics, Positioning Systems experience
Mission Planning and Mission Management
Robotics Systems, remotely or autonomously operated vehicles
Mentoring
Project planning and time management
